A 12V DC power supply powers these lights. At only 2.2 watts each, they are very energy efficient and produce 145 lumens. The size of the power supply will depend on the number of lights you use.
The single colour light is a warm 3000K, and to bring some colour to your deck, you can choose RGB. The RGB light will require a controller to be able to create the lighting effects you need.
This LED Step Light, 2.2W, 12V DC can be used indoor and outdoor and install in a standard North American single gang junction box.
