Hippo L-Type RGB Corner Connector

Need to make a secure 90-degree turn with your RGB flex strip? The Hippo L-Type RGB Corner Connector eliminates the extra wire for a secure 90-degree turn.

Easy to install without soldering. First, peel a little bit of the sticker paper off of the strip. Push the strip into the groove and place it on the four metal pins. Make sure that the four pins line up with the copper contacts on the flex strip. Once all the pins are aligned, clamp the plastic tab down. Repeat the same steps for the other end. Check that the polarity is consistent and you’re done! The Hippo Connectors create secure connections by piercing through the flex strip’s copper contacts.

The Hippo Connector can handle a higher current max. range at 5A compared to other standard connectors only at 3.5A. They are also available in both indoor and outdoor options. The IP20 indoor option is ideal for use with our 10mm RGB indoor flex strip. The Hippo L-Type RGB Connector is also compatible with most 10mm wide 4-conductor low voltage flex strips.
