Hippo Lead Connectors
Need a wire lead on the end of your LED Flex strip? Use the solderless Hippo Lead Connectors to add a lead to your cut pieces of flex strips. Available for 8mm Single Colour, RGB, and RGBW flex strips. Perfect for long-distance installations since you provide the length of low voltage wire. Quick and easy to install. First, peel a little bit of the sticker paper off of the strip. Push the strip into the groove and place it on the metal pins. Make sure that the pins line up with the copper contacts on the flex strip. Once all the points are aligned, clamp the plastic tab down. Repeat the same steps for the other end with the wires, checking that the polarity is consistent and you’re done! The Hippo Connectors create secure connections by piercing through the flex strip’s copper contacts. Suitable for use with indoor and outdoor Flex strips. The Hippo Lead Connector is compatible with most Single Colour, RGB, and RGBW low voltage flex strips. Please note that the wire is sold separately.
