Our friends at Philips have developed a way to use LEDs woven into the carpet to display a programmable visual message to help us on our way. This new technology is not in commercial use yet but you can be sure it will not be long before you see the Magic Carpet in airports, hotels, stores and anyplace that need to show you the way.
